Honda CR-V
Solid, stylish and reliable are just a few words to sum up the new Honda CR-V, a worthy competitor to its rival 4x4's. The CR-V was re-launched on 2007 making a huge improvement not only to its looks but also to it performance.
The CR-V in our opinion is one of the better looking smaller 4x4 vehicles and has a lot of great features such as a Collision Mitigation Braking System and slide/recline rear seats.
Engine options include 5 diesels and 5 petrols with the diesel giving you a combined mpg of 43.5, that's pretty damn impressive for a 4x4!
As for safety it doesn't come up to the mark compared to its rivals in the small off-road class but it still gained 4 stars.
